Elke Sommer- 1940
Wann immer es ein deutscher Star schafft auch in Hollywood Erfolg zu haben, dann ist das immer ein großes Ereignis. Bei Elke Sommer, einer gebürtigen Berlinerin, war das damals nicht anders. 1959 zog sie in die USA und bekam dort viele Rollen in über 100 Filmen. Zu ihren Filmen zählen unter anderem Goldfalle, The Wicked Dreams of Paula Schultz und Die Sieger.
Auch heute noch lebt Sommer in Amerika, genau genommen in Kalifornien mit ihrem zweiten Ehemann. Doch ihrem Heimatland bleibt der Hollywood-Star treu. Ihren Urlaub verbringt sie oft in ihrem wunderschönen Anwesen in Erlangen. Elke Sommer ist ein Vorbild für viele deutsche Stars, die den Sprung über den Teich schaffen wollen. Auch im hohen Alter sieht sie noch fantastisch aus und ist voller Lebensfreude.
