Die heute 83 jährige Schauspielerin und Sängerin hat auch mit reiferem Alter nichts an ihrer Schönheit eingebüßt. Julie Andrews beweist, das man auch natürlich und mit Würde altern kann. Während andere Promis sich für die Schönheit unters Messer legen, bleibt sich Julie selbst treu und strahlt somit von innen, wie von außen.
Weltruhm erlangte sie mit Sound of Music und Mary Poppins. Durch letzteren Film erlangte sie definitiv Kultstatus auf der ganzen Welt. Andrews denkt noch lange nicht daran in den Ruhestand zu gehen. Heute arbeitet sie unter anderem auch als Synchronsprecherin, wie letztens in dem Animationsfilm Ich – Einfach unverbesserlich 3.
