Vicky Leandros – 1952
Vicky Leandros wurde in Griechenland geboren. Zum Beginn ihrer Karriere nahm ihr Vater, Leo Leandros, viele ihrer Hits auf. Leandros singt ihre Songs auf Deutsch und auf Griechisch, ihrer Muttersprache. Vicky hat eine Ausbildung in Ballett, Gitarre und Gesang genossen und ist somit eine echte Künstlerin, die auch heute immer noch aktiv ist und als Sängerin in beiden Ländern immer noch Erfolge feiert.
Ihren Durchbruch in Deutschland schaffte sie in den 60er Jahren und nur wenig später trat sie für Luxemburg beim Eurovision Song Contest an. Zu ihren größten Hits gehört unter anderem Theo, wir fahr’n nach Lodz. Vicky Leandros ist nicht zu unterschätzen, denn sie gehört international zu den erfolgreichsten Künstlerinnen aller Zeiten.
