Before he became a boxing commentator, Lennox Lewis achieved immense success as a professional boxer. He was active between 1989 and 2003. He has laid his hands on the heavyweight championship title three times. Aside from that, Lewis has been a lineal champion twice. He also has the distinction of being the last champion to claim the undisputed championship title.

He holds citizenship in both Britain and Canada. While he was an amateur, he represented Canada at the Olympics in 1984 and 1988. It was in 1988 that he won a gold medal by getting the better of Riddick Bowe in the super-heavyweight division.

Lewis is considered to be one of the greatest fighters from Britain and one of the greatest heavyweight boxers in the history of the sport. At present, his net worth stands at something in the ballpark of $140 million.
