DIE SCHÄDEN DER ATOMTESTS IN DEN 50ER JAHREN
Nach der Kernschmelze im Kernkraftwerk Tschernobyl war die Umwelt verseucht, und das Feuer der Explosion brannte mindestens eine Woche lang. Vergleicht man jedoch die Verheerungen mit denen der Atomtests, die in den 50er und 60er Jahren durchgeführt wurden, so war die Katastrophe von Tschernobyl von weitaus geringerem Ausmaß. Mehrere Studien haben ergeben, dass die Strahlung in der Wüste von Nevada in den USA der Strahlung von Tschernobyl fast gleichzusetzen ist. Anwälte haben behauptet, dass solche Vorfälle in der Tat unglücklich und oft unvorhersehbar sind. Die gesamte Umwelt wird in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und die menschliche Zivilisation gerät ins Wanken. Zum Glück sind heute aus diesem Grund keine oberirdischen Atomtests mehr erlaubt.
