DER RUHM VON TSCHERNOBYL IN FILMEN
Die nukleare Geisterstadt Prypjat vor dem Untergang der Sowjetunion hat die Fantasie vieler Regisseure geweckt, und so haben sich sowohl Prypjat als auch Tschernobyl zu Lieblingsschauplätzen der Filmemacher entwickelt. „Chernobyl Diaries“, ein Horrorfilm aus dem Jahr 2012, hatte Pripyat als perfekten Schauplatz gewählt. Der Film handelt von einer Gruppe von Touristen, die an diesem Ort gestrandet sind und auf mutierte Monster stoßen. Stirb Langsam und Transformers: Dark of the Moon zeigen die nukleare Anlage von Tschernobyl. Wir vermuten, dass die Schauspieler und Regisseure bei den Dreharbeiten zu den Filmen ihren Unfallanwalt dabei hatten oder die Gegend aus Sicherheitsgründen einfach als Set irgendwo nachgebaut wurde.
