Magic Johnson is often called the greatest basketball player of all time, and he totally deserves it. Though he took retirement in 1991 since he had contracted AIDS, he is still associated with basketball and is the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. He did come back to play again in 1992 and 1996 but is fully retired from the game now. He is one of the most successful African-American businessmen in the country right now, and it comes as no surprise that he could afford a $7.6-million house back in 2007.
