Carmelo Anthony – $11 Million, New York
During his prime, the former New York Knicks power forward had made it a habit to lead his team to the NBA playoffs and eventually became a certified superstar. However, the whole narrative around the once-celebrated NBA star took a dramatic turn in the sixteenth year of his career as he was an awkward fit in the Oklahoma City Thunder and reports suggest that Melo is already looking at ending his career. He has already invested in a couple of retirement homes, including two apartments on the fifth floor of a high-end 15-unit condominium in New York. He then combined these two apartments to create one huge apartment (floor area measured at 4,556 square feet). He and his family enjoy access to the condo’s gym, a private bike barn, and a courtyard with BBQ facilities.
