Michael Wendler wurde am 22.06.1972 in Dinslaken unter dem bürgerlichen Namen Michael Skowronek geboren und absolvierte vor seiner Musikkarriere eine Ausbildung zum Speditionskaufmann. 2005 landete er mit Sie liebt den DJ seinen bisher größten Hit, und hat seither eine treue Fangemeinde, die ihn bedingungslos unterstützt.
29 Jahre lang war Claudia Norberg die Frau an Michael Wendlers Seite. Die beiden lernten sich schon als Teenager kennen. Sie heirateten 2009 standesamtlich auf Sylt und 2010 kirchlich auf Mallorca. Tochter Adeline komplettierte 2002 das Glück der beiden. 2008 folgte dann die Scheidung. Aktuell lebt Michael mit seiner zweiten Frau Laura Müller in Florida in den USA.
