Mark Medlock – Sänger – 3 Millionen Euro
Im Jahr 2007 wurde Mark Medlock durch seinen Sieg bei der Talentshow „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“ über Nacht berühmt. Doch mittlerweile hören Fans nicht mehr viel von dem begabten Sänger, der sich weitestgehend aus der Öffentlichkeit zurückgezogen hat.
Mark wurde am 09. Juli 1978 in Frankfurt am Main geboren. Sein Vater ist Afroamerikaner, seine Mutter gebürtige Deutsche. Bereits im Alter von sechs Jahren erkannte sein Vater das Gesangstalent seines Sohnes und förderte ihn auf diesem Gebiet. Mark Medlocks Vater war selbst Sänger in einem Gospelchor und hat das Talent somit an seinen Sohn weitergegeben, dessen große Vorbilder Barry White und James Brown waren.
Nach dem Gewinn von “DSDS”, über drei Millionen verkauften Tonträgern und elf Gold- und vier Platin-Auszeichnungen beendete der Sänger 2013 endgültig seine Karriere und genießt seitdem sein Leben auf Sylt. Was für eine tolle Karriere!
