Her second trimester was at its fag end, and Shanie decided to drop in at her doctor’s office to have a check-up. A scan at the end of the 10th week was necessary, and Shaniece needed to be sure that things were just okay. Her tension was palpable as she massaged her bump, waiting in anticipation on the health and well-being of the baby growing in her belly. When the doctor made his way back to Shaniece with some papers in hand, she felt extremely nervous about the birth of the child. She didn’t know what the papers said, and when the doctor told her, she was in for a shock.
