A través de una revista publicada en 2013, el famoso actor mexicano hizo pública su orientación sexual: confesó ser homosexual y allí fue cuando destapó su oculta relación que llevaba aproximadamente veinte años. Se inspiró en la estrella musical Ricky Martin para animarse a revelar semejante intimidad.
