Henny Huisman, eens de koning van de Nederlandse televisie, is tegenwoordig minder in de schijnwerpers te zien. Zijn iconische Soundmixshow heeft inmiddels plaatsgemaakt voor een nieuwe generatie talentenjachten. Nog voordat zijn tv-carrière opbloeide, gaf hij zijn jawoord aan zijn jeugdliefde, Lia van Gulik. Samen hebben ze twee dochters, Lobke en Nikki, en ondanks het intensieve tv-leven dat Henny leidde, is hun huwelijk nog altijd hecht.
