Stepping onto the red carpet at the 2014 premiere of “Where We Started,” Lark Voorhies, who plays Lisa Turtle from “Saved by the Bell,” drew attention for an unusual makeup choice. Her eye concealer appeared significantly lighter than the rest of her face, creating a stark contrast. The cosmetic mishap notwithstanding, she remained poised and engaged with the media.
In 2020, she delighted fans by reprising her role in the show’s reboot, portraying Lisa as a successful fashion designer. She’s ventured into writing, self-publishing three books. Interestingly, she adopted “Voorhies” as a stage name, with “Lark” inspired by a character in the 1972 film “Cool Breeze.”
