La historia de Seth y Lauren comenzó de una manera muy triste. Ellos estaban comenzando a salir cuando la madre de Lauren comenzó a mostrar síntomas de Alzheimer. La pareja ha comentado que fueron momentos duros, pero esos momentos los unieron y el amor creció entre la pareja. En el 2010 Seth le propuso matrimonio a Lauren y siguen juntos desde entonces. La pareja fundó una caridad para crear conciencia sobre el Alzheimer e intentar buscar la cura o algún método para contrarrestar esta horrible enfermedad. Ambos siguen trabajando y donan gran parte de sus ganancias a esta caridad.
