With all the clanking weights and buzzing machines, this person has claimed a bench for some quiet reading time. The open book and relaxed posture make it clear the gym is serving as their library today. It’s surprising for anyone to be this calm when surrounded by so much energy and effort.
While everyone else is sweating through sets, they’re flipping pages and probably lost in a plot far removed from the gym. It’s a bold choice, but maybe not the most practical use of the equipment. At least the bench press has finally found a gentler purpose—supporting some literary leisure.
