La presentadora de televisión y cantante, Carnie Wilson, tuvo ese tipo de mala suerte cuando decidió realizarse una cirugía de bypass gástrico para perder peso, ¡una de las primeras celebridades en hacerlo en 1999! Con eso, Carnie perdió 150 libras, sólo para ganar mucho más. Después de dar a luz a su hija Luciana, ella optó por una cirugía de banda gástrica ajustable en el 2012. Su adicción a la comida seguía y era difícil para ella controlarla. Sin embargo, ella sigue intentando llevar un estilo de vida saludable con una buena dieta y un programa fitness para mantener su peso.
