Michael Moore ha dominado las pantallas de televisión con su magnánima presencia, pero su peso se ha convertido en un problema para el actor. Después de haber sido advertido acerca de un deterioro en su salud y posibles problemas del corazón, Moore decidió tomar medidas en el asunto. Mientras que otros pudieron haber optado por pastillas de dieta o suplementos alimenticios, Moore decidió un método único. Él se unió a un spa de pérdida de peso, y al parecer él pagó 4,500 dólares a la semana por sus servicios. Bueno, parece que el spa hizo maravillas ya que Moore perdió 25 libras y tiene planificado mantener su nuevo peso bajo control.
