DIXIE CHICKS – FORMADO EN 1989
Las hermanas Erwin Maguire, Emily Erwin Robison y la cantante Natalie Maines son conocidas como las Dixie Chicks, una banda de Dallas, Texas que fue formada en 1989. Las chicas han tenido una gran carrera por muchos años y lograron llegar al número uno en varias listas muchas veces. Ellas también son las ganadoras de trece Grammy y otros premios. Tristemente, debido a su rechazo en contra del presidente Bush durante la invasión a Iraq en el 2003, ellas fueron puestas en la lista negra y se les evitó actuar en cualquier lugar durante su presidencia. Afortunadamente, sus fanáticos pudieron disfrutar de nuevo cuando hicieron un tour de regreso en el 2010 después de un largo descanso. Las miembros de la banda obviamente se enriquecieron, pero eso no las ayudó a resolver sus problemas personales y controversias y la mayoría requirió la ayuda de un buen abogado.
