DIE ENTSETZLICHEN AUSWIRKUNGEN AUF KINDER
Nach der Katastrophe von Tschernobyl wurde festgestellt, dass Kinder am stärksten betroffen waren und die Strahlung der Explosion tödliche Auswirkungen auf ihre Gesundheit hatte. Chernobyl Children International, eine gemeinnützige Organisation, erhielt Unterstützung von den Vereinten Nationen. Die CCI hilft Familien, die finanziell und psychisch betroffen sind, und leistet den Opfern medizinische und humanitäre Hilfe. Dies ist ein begrüßenswerter Schritt, und die Organisation erhält finanzielle Unterstützung aus allen Teilen der Welt. Adi Roche, ein Ire, hat den Grundstein für diese Organisation gelegt, und wir glauben, dass mehr Menschen wie er sich melden und helfen sollten. Wir können uns nicht ansatzweise vorstellen, wie traumatisch dieses Ereignis für die überlebenden Kinder heute noch sein muss.
