Mientras que Alex juega en el equipo de la Liga Nacional de Fútbol Femenino, Orlando Pride, su esposo, Servando, demuestra sus habilidades sobre el terreno de juego para Orlando City, un equipo popular de la Major League Soccer. Pero los compromisos profesionales separaron a la pareja cuando Carrasco fue seleccionado por el LA Galaxy y se vio obligado a trasladarse a Los Ángeles, a unos 2000 kilómetros de Orlando. A pesar de esta gran distancia, Alex y Servando se han mantenido unidos y nunca han permitido que una interferencia afecte su matrimonio.
