Alex Rodriguez und Cynthia Scurtis – Angebliche Einigung über 26 Millionen Dollar
Alexander Enmanuel Rodriguez, besser bekannter unter dem Namen “A-Rod”, ist ein ehemaliger amerikanischer Baseballprofi, Geschäftsmann und Philanthrop. Der Sportler und die ehemalige Lehrerin waren von 2002 bis 2008 zusammen, bis Scurtis die Scheidung einreichte, da Rodriguez’ außereheliche Affären und andere eheliche Verfehlungen sie seelisch kaputt gemacht hatten. Das ehemalige Paar hat zwei gemeinsame Töchter namens Natasha und Ella.
Scurtis reichte im Jahr 2008 nach sechs Ehejahren die Scheidung ein. Sie durfte ihre 12-Millionen-Dollar-Villa in Florida behalten, musste jedoch auf 26 Millionen Dollar verzichten, die A-Rod in dieser Saison verdient hatte. Demnach bekam Cynthia dennoch fast die Hälfte seines Vermögens, sodass sie im Großen und Ganzen dennoch zufrieden sein konnte.
Obwohl die Scheidung zwischen den beiden damals “sehr chaotisch” war, läuft es jetzt viel besser zwischen Cynthia und A-Rod. Nach der Trennung von Jennifer Lopez verbringt Rodriguez viel Zeit mit seiner Ex-Frau und seinen beiden Töchtern.
