ALL’INIZIO NON RIUSCIVA A CREDERCI
I numeri coincidevano. All’inizio Cindy non riusciva a crederci. Sbatté di nuovo le palpebre per dirsi che quello che stava vedendo non era sbagliato, ma era la verità assoluta. All’inizio chiamò suo marito Mark e disse scherzando che le era quasi venuto un infarto e che non riusciva a credere di aver vinto alla lotteria!
Cindy chiamò poi anche la suocera Shirley ed entrambe continuarono a guardare il biglietto più e più volte, controllando i numeri tre volte. Ma i numeri erano tutti lì: 5, 23, 16, 22, e l’ultimo risultò essere il 29. Avevano infatti in mano il più grande biglietto vincente della lotteria e le loro mani tremavano per l’eccitazione.
