LA DONAZIONE DELLE COLLINE
Walt Stubbs, capo dei vigili del fuoco volontari di Dearborn, ha dichiarato all’HuffPost che la creazione della nuova stazione è stata possibile solo grazie alla donazione di Hills. Se avessero dovuto usare i soldi delle tasse, sembrava quasi impossibile e ci sarebbero voluti venticinque anni per costruire la stessa stazione!
Gli Hills li hanno quindi aiutati a costruire qualcosa di quattro volte più grande della vecchia stazione, che avevano e che avrebbe aiutato i vigili del fuoco e l’ambulanza ad avere un accesso immediato alle strade e alle autostrade principali. Ora i soccorsi arrivano in poco meno di mezz’ora, il che è stato un grande vantaggio per la città.
