Mauro Lainez y Paulina Verdirame
El futbolista Mauro Lainez es más conocido por ser el hermano mayor de Diego Lainez, quien juega para el Deportivo Betis de España. Mauro ha jugado para diversos clubes de primera división, como el Pachuca, León, Lobos BUAP y los Xolos de Tijuana. Sin embargo, es más conocido y recordado por un gran escándalo en los Juegos Panamericanos del 2019. Lainez fue convocado por la selección nacional y mientras estaban en etapa de concentración, previo a los partidos, se desató el escándalo. La vedette peruana Shirley Cherres declaró que Mauro se le había acercado aduciendo que era soltero. Eso fue un duro golpe para su matrimonio. Mauro estaba casado en ese entonces con Paulina Verdirame, hija y hermana de ex futbolistas reconocidos en la selección mexicana. La pareja tiene una hija en común, pero desde el incidente se sabe que no mantiene un trato cordial y los dos han borrado todas sus fotos juntos en redes sociales.
