Meet the Smile of the Sea: Sea Lions
A young woman was sailing in a boat in the middle of the sea when she noticed a sea lion bobbing in the water beside her. She watched in amazement as it dipped its head underwater to grab a fish. Sea lions are expert hunters with a keen sense of smell and underwater vision, making them one of the top predators in the ocean.
On land, they have the weight and agility to outrun a human, and their five-layer fur coats offer excellent insulation that keeps them warm in frigid temperatures. Their droopy eyes with long, black eyelashes make them look like they are always smiling, see how photogenic they are!
