A Moment Of Silence To Collect Her Thoughts
She was lying down on the shore, looking at the peaceful blue waters of the ocean. She felt a deep sense of calmness while the sound of the waves was lulling her mind into a soothing trance. A light breeze came and caressed her skin, and she smiled in contentment.
Research on ocean viewing has shown that it can reduce stress by helping the brain focus its attention away from stress-inducing thoughts. Therefore, the ocean can be a powerful ally in helping us to relax and de-stress. She just lay there for a few more minutes, before getting back up and feeling energised and ready to tackle her day.
