Speaking of billionaires, Michael Bloomberg should be one of the most notable mentions. After all, he owns one of the most widely known finance and economics media forums, Bloomberg Bloomberg L.P. He has been in a domestic partnership with Diana Taylor, a former New York Superintendent of Banks, since 2000.
The two met at a Citizens Budget Commission event, and Taylor has been with Bloomberg ever since. She stood by his side through his mayoral run, campaigned for him, and was there for him throughout the 2005 New York City transit strike. She also serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including The New York Women’s Foundation.
