The Ambanis are the second wealthiest family in India, a country with a population of over a billion people. Mukesh Ambani leads the Reliance Group, which his father founded. The group of companies has a diversified portfolio of consumer goods, telecommunication, energy, and much more.
He married his better half, Nita Ambani, in 1985, and they’ve welcomed three children together. She is a founder of the Reliance Foundation, a non-profit organization, and a famous philanthropist. Nita’s a businesswoman and owns the Indian Premier League cricket club, Mumbai Indians. She was named one of the most influential Asian women by Forbes in 2016.
