The love story of Astrid Menks and Warren Buffet is one of a kind. Buffett’s first wife, Sussan Thompson, left him to pursue her career in singing. Menks was one of her colleagues in the bar where she performed; that was how the two met. Although things started as a fling, they would eventually marry four decades later.
Buffett was a humble investment salesman at the start of this romance. However, as of January 2023, he had a net worth of almost $107 billion and was the fourth richest man on earth. Among many of his successful ventures is his investment company, Berkshire Hathaway.
