Antes de Roma, Marina ha trabajado en películas como Desafío, Azul maduro, Viento en contra, Ana and Bruno, Cómplices, entre otras. Obviamente, ninguna con el nivel de éxito que Roma.
A Marina se le ha relacionado con muchos actores y hombres con el paso de los años, pero parece que su lealtad y fidelidad yace actualmente con Diego Luna. Algo que caracteriza a estos grandes actores es su amor por su vida privada y se han dedicado a mantener toda su vida privada oculta de los medios.
