Gerard Moreno Balagueró es un futbolista español que actualmente juega para el club Villarreal y para la selección nacional de España. El Villarreal fue el club que lo vio nacer y que le dio la primera oportunidad en su carrera. Gerard empezó su carrera en el Villarreal C, el club de la tercera división y luego subió a la segunda división con el Villarreal B hasta llegar al primer equipo del Villarreal.
Gerard luego tuvo una breve temporada por el Mallorca y el Espanyol y actualmente sigue jugando para el Villarreal desde hace 4 temporadas. .
En cuanto a su vida personal, Gerard está felizmente casado con su esposa, Nuria Moreno, la cual es su amor de la infancia y con quien tienen dos hijos actualmente. A Gerard le gusta mantener su vida personal en privado y los mantiene alejados del foco para que tengan una vida tranquila y feliz.
