Seems like comedy shows are a big thing in Netflix these days. With a comedy talk show already in the pipeline, Netflix has decided to order a comedy series directed, produced, and created by none other than Ricky Gervais. And if that’s not enough, Gervais will also star in this dark comedy Netflix original. After Life is the story is about a man who tries to take his own life after the death of his wife, but then he changes his mind and adapts a carefree, almost reckless lifestyle, leading him to face a host of incidents and consequences. Set to be released in 2019, the series will have six 30-minute episodes. At 57, Ricky is quite impressive by wearing so many hats. We wonder where he gets all that energy and if it is because of some special diet full of nutrition.
