The Floating Feast
Two adventurous men were sailing on the water, but not in a traditional boat. Instead, they were aboard a custom-made marvel, crafted by attaching a trolling motor and a few pontoons to a picnic table. With a big umbrella for shelter and a sign proclaiming “Picnic Launch,” they combined the leisure of a picnic with the thrill of sailing.
Initially designed to propel fishing boats quietly, trolling motors found a whimsical new purpose here. The two sailors enjoyed their floating feast, demonstrating that with a bit of creativity, even the most mundane objects could set the stage for an extraordinary escapade.
