Eine ganz normale Kindheit in einem familiären Umfeld
In einem kleinen Ort in Minnesota wuchsen Abby und Brittany Hensel mit ihrer Familie in einer liebevollen und unterstützenden Umgebung auf. Ihre Mutter Patty, die früher als Krankenschwester arbeitete, kümmerte sich fürsorglich um die besonderen Bedürfnisse ihrer Töchter, während Vater Mike als Zimmermann die Familie versorgte. Die Geburt der jüngeren Geschwister Morgan und Dakota brachte zusätzliches Glück und vervollständigte die harmonische Familie.
Trotz ihrer besonderen Situation erlebten Abby und Brittany eine erfüllte Kindheit. Diese enge Familienbindung prägte ihren Wunsch, später auch eine eigene Familie zu gründen.
