Warren Buffett – Needed for His Many Business Trips
Warren Buffett, the legendary investor and business magnate, has been known for his prudent approach to spending and his outspoken views on excesses. However, even he recognized the value and convenience of private air travel.
In the late 1990s, he made a significant move by purchasing a Bombardier Challenger private jet for his personal use. This decision, while seemingly contradictory to his earlier criticisms, reflected Warren’s pragmatic mindset. However, Buffett didn’t stop at just owning a private jet. In a bold move that demonstrated his long-term vision, he went on to acquire NetJets, a company specializing in fractional jet ownership, in 1998.
