Preta Gil and Rodrigo Godoy sealed their love in a luxurious 2015 wedding at Rio’s iconic Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo. With an astounding 56 godparents and a guest list boasting 700 names—including celebrities like Anitta and Ivete Sangalo—the celebration was anything but low-key.
Helô Rocha designed Preta’s show-stopping dress, adorned with 50,000 pearls, while Rodrigo looked suave in a Givenchy suit. Decorator Renato Aguiar and pastry chef Isadora Becker crafted a dreamy atmosphere and a six-tiered cake, respectively. Adding to the extravagance, the 12-hour fiesta featured performances by A-listers. Fast-forward to 2023, the couple have a son together.
