Iconic Celebrities From The Golden Age That Are Still Alive – For Them Age Really Is Just A Number

Don Johnson – Born 1949

Don Johnson rose to fame with his portrayal of Detective Crockett in the popular 80s series and bowled us over with his aviator shades and white suits. The star has indeed aged like a fine wine, and those blonde highlights have been replaced with silver hair, making us gush over how awesome this 68-year-old looks today. He has had an excellent career so far and was recently spotted in Sick Note, a 2017 television comedy. This implies that his financial planning advisor is having a tough time managing his bank account.

Caren Marsh-Doll – 1919

Caren Marsh-Doll was the stand-in for Judy Garland in 1939 classic The Wizard Of Oz. Along with Jerry Maren (who was a Munchkin in the film and part of the lollipop guild), they are the last two surviving cast of the 1939 classic as of 2018. She started her career when movies were still silent. Hence, she is one of the last surviving actresses from the silent film era. Slowly, she shifted her focus to dance which became her newfound love. In 1949, she was in a plane crash but survived it with 12 other people. Thankfully, she healed fast and was back in good health. Even now, she volunteers as a dance instructor once a month. She might have taken retirement, but she is never tired of dancing!
