Lamentablemente para muchas fanáticas, este actor lleva casado con Deborra-Lee Furness desde hace más de 2 décadas. La pareja se conoció cuando estaban grabando la serie de televisión australiana, Correlli. Para Hugh fue amor a primera vista y Deborra también se sintió atraída por él. Desde entonces, todo ha sido felicidad para esta pareja. Jackman obtuvo un éxito sin precedentes en Hollywood y tuvieron dos hijos. A pesar de que Hugh sufrió de cáncer de piel, él logró superarlo y sigue disfrutando de la vida con su familia.
