Ringo se casó con la hermosa Barbara Bach, una modelo y actriz que se había vuelto muy famosa por haber sido la chica Bond en la película The Spy Who Loved Me. A pesar de que tuvieron muchos problemas al comienzo y durante su matrimonio, la pareja ha sabido sobrellevar y superar todas las adversidades y han permanecido juntos hasta la actualidad. Ringo y Barbara no tienen hijos propios, pero Ringo sí es padrastro de los hijos que tuvo Barbara en su primer matrimonio.
