Martin Scorsese and Helen Morris – Together Since 1999

The American film director, producer, and actor has changed the very era of New Hollywood. Most of the work that he has done explored wide-ranging themes on Italian-American identity, masculinity, faith, nihilism, redemption, crime, and tribalism. Filmmaking would never have been the same had Martin not revolutionized the space with his creations.

Films like The Wolf of Wall Street, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Irishman, Departed and several more defined the new mode of filming and perception in Hollywood. His first feature film, Who’s that Knocking at My Door, was accepted in the Chicago Film Festival. That marked the beginning of what Martin established in the years since then.

Helen Morris, the book editor, and TV producer, is the fifth wife of the director. But that doesn’t matter, for their bond has been strong since 1999. Their daughter Francesca had also appeared in 2 films of her dad, including The Departed and The Aviator.
