De las parejas del mismo sexo que hay en Hollywood, una de las más adorables es la de Ellen DeGeneres con Portia de Rossi. Ellen había salido del closet hace muchos años, pero no se le había visto con alguna pareja. Ellen y Portia comenzaron a salir en el 2004 y fue amor a primera vista para ambas, aunque pasó algo de tiempo hasta que ambas lo dijeron. Estas adorables mujeres se casaron en agosto del 2008 cuando la Corte Suprema de California declaró que las personas del mismo sexo podrían casarse. Desde entonces todo ha sido felicidad, Ellen sigue siendo la presentadora de su exitoso programa y Portia ha actuado en varias cosas. Ambas tienen proyectos de caridad y protección para los animales.
