These Hollywood Couples Have Stood The Test Of Time And Are In Love Even Today
Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti Sr. – 46 Years
Sophia Loren hails from the Golden Age of Hollywood and it doesn’t require mention that all of us have been huge admirers of the actress. Loren was a meager 16-year-old when she came across the dynamic Carlo Ponti Sr. Carlo, then already married, was almost twenty years elder to Sophia, but that hardly was a factor to contemplate on.
After dating each other for seven years, Carlo and Sophia decided to get hitched, but as facts suggest, Ponti was not legally divorced from his previous wife at that point in time. The marriage between Ponti and Loren was annulled in 1962, but the duo went on to marry yet again in 1966. The two stayed together for 46 years until Carlo breathed his last. His insurance plans must have benefited Sophia to a large extent.
