Kristy McNichol made her mark in the entertainment industry after taking on various roles such as Barbara Weston in Empty Nest and Polly in Only When I Laugh. Aside from acting, Kristy also dabbled in singing and producing, also finding success in whatever endeavor and career investment she made. In 2001, she retired from Tinsel town and has been living a quiet life with her partner, Martie Allen.
Martie also tried to find her footing in the entertainment industry, having shared similar dreams as her actress wife.
