Patrick Mahomes, a famous Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, and Brittany Matthews were in the same high school in Texas and even though they later attended separate colleges, they managed to keep the flame alive. Mahomes plied his trade for Texas Tech as a quarterback while Matthews was busy playing soccer at UT Tyler. Mahomes belongs to a family of athletes where his dad Pat was an ex-MLB pitcher.
The couple has made their romance work, with the NFL star making a name for himself, and his girlfriend cheering him on for eight years as he did so. She herself has built a fitness empire all of her own, so they are each successful!
