Joan Van Ark and John Marshall – 53 years

Joan has come a long way since her days as Valene Ewing in Knots Landing. The CBS sitcom helped her grab the Soap Opera Digest Award in 1986 and then again in 1989. Throughout a sixty-year-old career, Joan has starred in shows such as The Rockford Files, Days of Our Lives, Temperatures Rising, and Hawaii Five-O. Though her acting portfolio has certainly lengthened over her career, she has slowed somewhat and her last film appearance was in 2017’s Psycho Wedding Crasher, where she acted as ‘Aunt Daisy’.

Joan and John exchanged wedding vows in 1966. John happens to be a former KNBC-TV reporter, and therefore, the duo aren’t bogged down by any financial worry. Problems of all kinds are pretty normal in all relationships, and we are glad that these two have successfully dealt with them. The couple share just one child who has grown to be a voice actress, model and singer, named Vanessa Marshall.
