Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood – 15 Years

Country music stars Trish Yearwood and Garth Brooks may have been married since 2005, but they had to wait for the right moment for their stars to be aligned perfectly. It all started as a platonic love story mixed with camaraderie and evolved into a connubial relationship many years later. Back in 1987, both Garth and Trisha were struggling musicians, trying to carve their niches in the highly competitive country music scene. It was around that time when the duo met each other for the first time.

At the time of their first encounter, Garth was married to his college sweetheart, Sandy Mahl, while Trisha was married to her first husband, Christopher Latham (they split up in 1991). Trisha also married Robert Reynolds in 1994, but that marriage also didn’t work. Finally, in 2005, the country stars decided to act on their feelings for each other, and after their fairytale wedding, the couple invested in the best family health insurance plans and continue to enjoy each other’s company to this day.
