Cooper tomó la decisión de criar a Grace con una dieta estricta
Shannon Cooper se negó a permitir que ser madre alterara su forma de vida. Tuvo que adherirse continuamente a sus valores saludables debido a su empleo como consejera de salud y bienestar.
Esto implicaba que ella no criaría a Grace de la misma manera que la mayoría de sus nuevos padres. Pero también implicaba que Grace había crecido de manera muy diferente a sus contemporáneos. Cooper tomó la decisión de alimentar a Grace conscientemente, prestando mucha atención a lo que ella le daba.
Cooper no quería dar marcha atrás a pesar de que la mayoría de los padres lo hacen mal o ceden en ocasiones. Es una madre tenaz que siente firmemente que fue la mejor opción para su pequeño hijo.
