Cynthia musste sich keine Sorgen um das Sorgerecht für ihre Drillinge machen, da Johnny nicht der leibliche Vater war, was automatisch bedeutete, dass er das Sorgerecht verlor. Nachdem er erfahren hatte, dass Eric der Vater von drei Kindern war, machte er seiner Wut Luft, indem er Naomi bei Cynthia zurückließ. Johnny hatte das Interesse an Naomi verloren.
