Rick Nelson era un favorito de las chicas adolescentes y Kristen Hammon fue excelente como pintora. Tracy nació de estas dos padres celebridades y extrañamente, ella no estuvo inclinada a la industria hasta que actuó en una obra realizada por una clase superior en la Westlake School for Girls en Los Ángeles.
